Petropump Repairer and Construction was established in 2016 with a clear mission: to provide South Africa's petroleum and industrial sectors with engineering services that are safe, compliant, and built to last.

Over the years, we have grown from a small technical team into a trusted partner for fuel stations, fleet depots, mining operations, and industrial facilities across Gauteng and beyond. Our reputation is built on technical precision, strict adherence to SANS and HSE standards, and a relentless commitment to minimizing client downtime.

Led by co-founding directors Vuyisa Munyu and Obet Mokgujoa — combining nearly four decades of petroleum engineering expertise — our team brings unmatched technical capability to every project, from emergency breakdown repairs to complete forecourt construction.

Vuyisa Munyu

Co-Founding Director & Senior Electrician / Petroleum Equipment Technician

A highly experienced Electrician and Petroleum Service Technician with nearly 20 years of specialised expertise in electrical engineering and petroleum equipment maintenance.

He served as a Service Technician at Prowalco Tatsuno Service (Pty) Ltd for 20 years (2005–2025), gaining extensive hands-on experience in fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs, submersible pump installations, calibration, and compliance verification.

With extensive field experience across South Africa's petroleum sector, he specialises in pump diagnostics, system installations, maintenance scheduling, and ensuring full compliance with SANS and HSE requirements on every site.
